Jason Brownlee is the founder of Colourtext, an audience research and consumer insights company that specialises in music & audio. Jason began his career in audio with Emap (now Bauer Media) as Head of Audience Insight, playing a key role in the expansion of brands like Kiss, Magic and Kerrang.

Since founding Colourtext Jason has developed the world’s largest music consumer segmentation project for Sony Music, which has run continuously for more than 10 years across 42 countries. He also undertook the research program that helped Fremantle Media rejuvenate and successfully relaunch American Idol, the world’s biggest reality entertainment brand.

Jason also created the RadioGauge advertising measurement system for RadioCentre UK, regarded as the global standard for evaluating radio effectiveness and credited with securing over $300m of advertising revenue since 2008.>>
